Workshop 1: Create Clay Christmas Ornaments
Join us on December 7 for a cozy afternoon of turning raw clay into beautiful Christmas ornaments! In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll guide you step-by-step as you shape and design your own handmade Christmas ornaments using simple tools and patterns. Feel free to keep it simple, or add your own texture and spin to each of the 3 ornaments you create. You’ll enjoy good company, lighthearted games, and maybe even win a fun prize or two — the perfect blend of creativity and holiday cheer.
Once your ornaments are complete, we’ll take them back to the studio to be kiln-fired, preparing them for the next step — adding color and shine! You’ll have the option to return for the Christmas Ornament Glazing Workshop to paint your ornaments yourself, or, for a glazing fee, choose one glaze color per ornament and let us handle the finishing touches. By December 19, you can stop by Main Street Coffee House to pick up your finished keepsakes — glossy, colorful, and ready to hang.
This event is designed for ages 12 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the class. All materials, tools, and instruction are included in the price of admission, and tasty drinks will be available for purchase from the coffee bar.
